Bluefin ceo appointed chair of CII insurance
broking faculty

We are pleased to announce that Stuart Reid, chief executive of Bluefin Insurance Group, has been appointed as chair of the Chartered Insurance Institute's (CII) insurance broking faculty.
The insurance broking faculty board provides the CII with advice, advocacy and access to industry expertise, helping to ensure it provides CPD opportunities that reflect current market requirements, supports career development opportunities and promotes the industry's professional standing.
In his new position, Stuart will be working with his fellow faculty board members to help raise levels of professional knowledge and technical competence across the broking sector and to assist insurance broking faculty members in their personal career development.
Commenting on the appointment, Stuart said: "The insurance broking faculty does invaluable work for its members and their organisations. As chair I aim to carry on the good work already being done by encouraging and promoting the highest standards of competence, expertise and professionalism for all."
Ant Gould, director of the faculties at the CII, added: "We're delighted to welcome Stuart as chair in what promises to be an exciting and challenging time for both the CII and the profession as a whole.
