DTZ sees increased employee engagement
with new flexible benefits scheme

07/02/2012

UK property company DTZ has re-launched its flexible benefits scheme after switching to Bluefin’s online portal, Orbit.

DTZ reported increased engagement across all areas of the scheme with 86% of employees logging in to their accounts and 75% actively selecting benefits.

DTZ appointed Bluefin to implement a new flexible benefits package in early 2011, following a review of providers. The priority for DTZ was to provide employees with a scheme that offered the greatest possible choice, and Bluefin’s Orbit portal has been tailored to meet those specific requirements. Orbit gives DTZ employees much greater flexibility to take control of their benefits plan, the ability to choose from a wide range of options, and to make changes to their package if they wish.

Feedback was very positive with praise for the ease of using the new portal and the new options such as Apple products and affinity benefits proving popular among employees.

Mark Savory, Benefits Manager at DTZ, said “The re-launch exceeded expectations. The business had been through a period of uncertainty for our employees and this was a great opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to our people. It was important for us to be able to offer maximum choice and flexibility, and Bluefin’s scheme has successfully enabled us to do that.”
