Our advice process

Our approach to Financial Planning.

We have a structured process for working with clients. It starts by getting information which enables us to understand your current situation. We then use this knowledge to analyse what is needed to meet your future goals. Once we've prepared our analysis, we will research the market place to find the ideal solution to meet your needs, as well as presenting you an investment strategy to show what has to be done to achieve those aims. Once you are happy with our recommendations we will carry out any transactions necessary to implement those plans.

Finally, we will furnish you with a report detailing our recommendations and explaining our conclusions and advice in a clear and concise summary

Information gathering

This is an initial meeting where we meet to discuss your current situation, with an assessment of how your existing provisions balance against your goals, needs and objectives.

Our recommendations

At our second meeting we will present to you our recommendations and explain to you the reasons why they are the ideal solutions to your needs. This meeting will also cover the specifics of how best to alter existing plans, or enact new plans. Should you be happy with our recommendations we will then be in a position to move forward and put your plans into action.

Your suitability report

Once you have proceeded with our recommendations you will be provided with a report that outlines why we have recommended a certain plan and how they will meet your needs and objectives. The suitability report will also outline the key benefits of the plan and how they will work for you.

Our continued support

If you wish, we will arrange regular review meetings to assess how circumstances, goals and attitudes have evolved and agree what changes are needed in the ongoing financial plan and investment strategy.

Our contract

Throughout the process the advice we give will be totally unbiased and independent. We'll only recommend products if they meet real needs. And, if we feel you don't actually need our help we'll say so. As for payment, we work on a commission or fee basis for our advice, with our initial consultation being free. If, as a result of our advice a product is enacted, and that product provides commission, then that commission may be used towards the payment of the fee.
