Graduate scheme

Our graduate trainee scheme offers you the opportunity to become a professionally qualified insurance broker, working with commercial clients to manage and mitigate the risks inherent in their business environment.

The scheme combines practical on-the-job experience with theory-based classroom training and your personal commitment to achieving professional qualification through the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Our trainees undergo four six-month placements at various locations in the south of England where they learn the basic skills and qualities needed to succeed as an insurance professional such as excellent technical knowledge, resourcefulness, client focus, relationship management and commercial awareness.

At the end of the two year programme it is anticipated that they will assume a significant role in the Bluefin organisation and be well-positioned for a long and successful career in the insurance industry.

Naturally, we are looking for bright, intelligent and enthusiastic individuals attracted by the opportunity of becoming a trusted and respected adviser to a wide range of business clients. You will need excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills as well the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
