A diverse industry demanding a specialist approach
The care industry comprises a wide range of diverse organisations providing all manner of health and welfare services to the old and the young, the ill and infirm, the mentally and physically disabled, the educationally disadvantaged and all combinations in between. In some cases it’s on clients’ own premises such as care homes and surgeries, in others it’s at the home of the individual or their workplace.
Such a broad industry, tackling such a huge variety of problems and issues, often in highly emotional and life-or-death environments, inevitably face all manner of risks in the conduct of their day to day activities.
In addition to the everyday risks of fire, flood, theft and workplace accidents, you are exposed to a vast array of liability issues including medical malpractice, infectious diseases and mental, physical and sexual abuse.
To protect against such a broad risk scenario calls for the advice and guidance of an insurance specialist.
Over many years, we have developed a wide range of property and liability insurance products designed to meet the particular requirements of the care sector including access to a range of ancillary services including risk management advice and claims support.
We have a number of specialist schemes with individual underwriters designed to provide wide-ranging cover at competitive premiums and we also have long-standing relationships with other leading insurers where an open-market solution is in our client’s best interests.
And, as one of the largest insurance broking groups in the UK, we can often secure exclusive deals that are not available elsewhere.
With branches in around sixty locations and care sector specialists in both the north and south, we can provide excellent local service to help you arrange the most appropriate cover and assist you in the event of a major claim.
